Card FAQ
What fees does Tuyo Card have?
The card has no issuance fee and no monthly or yearly fees. Two fees may apply on a purchase: a 1% FX fee when you spend in a currency other than USD, and a 1% abroad fee applied by our card provider on any purchase made outside the US. Both can apply at the same time (for example, a non-USD purchase made outside the US), for a total of up to 2%.
Which tokens work with the card?
The card is powered by USDC on Base. You can deposit USDC (or any token) on Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Smart Chain (BSC), or Polygon, and convert to Base USDC inside Tuyo. Tokens sent on any other network (for example Optimism) can't be recovered.
Can I use the card with Apple Pay or Google Pay?
Yes, you can add your card to Apple Pay and Google Pay. In some cases, Apple or Google may reject the addition based on their own risk checks (device, location, or account history).
Can I withdraw cash from ATMs or set a PIN?
Yes. You can set a card PIN (see Change your card PIN) and withdraw cash at any ATM that supports Visa. Update the app to the latest version, set your PIN, then at the ATM choose Credit and enter your PIN using your virtual card. ATM withdrawals are subject to limits — see ATM withdrawals for the full details.
What are the card limits?
New cards start with a daily limit of up to $50,000, which can rise to $100,000 and then $200,000 as your total spending grows. You can change your limit in the app (Card → Change limit). See Card limits for the full details.
Can I spend directly from Tuyo Earn?
Yes. The Tuyo Card can spend your USDC even while it is in an Earn strategy, so it keeps earning until you spend. If you prefer, you can disable use of your Earn balance and the card will only draw from USDC that is not deposited in a strategy.
What happens if my KYC for the card is rejected?
A card application that is marked as rejected is final. If the app shows a generic setup error instead of a final rejection, contact Tuyo Support so the team can check for missing or incorrect profile data. A card rejection never changes your control of funds in the self-custodial Tuyo wallet.
