Add card from Google Wallet
Use this fallback if Add to Google Pay in Tuyo does not complete. These steps take place in Google Wallet.
Quick text guide
- Open the Google Wallet app.
- Tap Add to Wallet.
- Tap Payment card, then New credit or debit card.
- Scan the card or enter its details manually.
- Tap Save and continue, read the issuer terms, then tap Accept.
- Complete the payment-method verification if Google Wallet asks for it.
Step-by-step guide
1. Open Google Wallet
Open the Google Wallet app on your Android device.
2. Start adding a payment card
At the bottom of the app, tap Add to Wallet.
3. Choose a new payment card
Tap Payment card, then New credit or debit card.
4. Add the card details
Use the camera to scan the card or choose Enter details manually.
5. Accept the issuer terms
Tap Save and continue, read the issuer terms, then tap Accept.
6. Verify the payment method if requested
Choose one of the verification options shown in Google Wallet and complete it.
If it still does not work
Google Wallet requires a supported country or region and a supported card. If card setup cannot be completed, Google says to contact the bank or try again later. Read Google’s current card-add instructions and troubleshooting.
Tuyo-specific behavior ends at the Add to Google Pay handoff. Google Wallet availability, card support, and verification are controlled by Google and the card issuer.
